No day at camp is “typical” however, our camp is incredibly well organized and wonderfully flexible at the same time! That means we may take a vote on our favorite activity during morning assembly, spend a few extra minutes down at the beach, or put the finishing touches on our master pieces in art. Take a look at how much this camper did in just one day...

9:00 am: Morning assemblies in the bamboo forest classroom area are awesome! We played a get-to-know you game and made up our camp song.

9:20 am: It is “King Neptune Day” and we are heading down to the beach so we can “cross the equator” and then collect some shells for an art project.

10:00 am: It was so cool learning about the vegetable garden! We even got to pick lots of veggies and plant new seedlings to take home!

10:45 am: Back to the carriage house...SNACK TIME!

11:50 am: Our CIT (Counselor-In-Training) taught us how to play a new game called DRIP, DRIP DROP! I want to be a Blithewold CIT some day - just like her!

12:00 pm: LUNCHTIME! Today we are having a picnic lunch! I love hanging out with the counselors and my new friends.

12:40 pm: We learned about the artist Monet and painted a picture down by the lily ponds.

1:30 pm: I am so excited! We get to tour the Mansion and learn all about the children who once lived at Blithewold.

2:00 pm: We just learned a Native American friendship dance and heard stories about the native people who once lived near Bristol.

2:30 pm: Campers pack up, closing ceremony and art show!
