Reserve your Table for Tea at Blithewold

Walk the grounds, tour the mansion and then join us in the Dining room for a lovely afternoon treat. Blithewold's informal Tea features our own custom-blended tea served alongside sweet and savory items including one of our favorite bites -- Bristol Bakery's scrumptious scone!

For the first time we're taking a limited amount of reservations for each seating. Your reservation can only be made using this website (please, no calls). Please click on the "sign up for this" link above.

PLEASE NOTE: I
f you don't see the "sign up for this" link at the top of the page, it's because of one of the two reasons listed below.

  • We stop taking reservations one day before the Tea so that we can arrange the dining room accordingly.
  • Or, guests have made reservations for the portion of the dining room that has been set aside for reserved seating.

But don't worry, we are saving some seats to accommodate walk-ins for each Tea. Those seats will be given on a first come, first served basis. Or, you could make a reservation for another day!

The price for Tea includes admission to the Gardens & Mansion.

  • Adults $22
  • AAA $21
  • Seniors/Students $20
  • Youths 6-17 yrs old $14
  • Members and kids 5 and under $12

  • Christmas at Blithewold “You Are Invited” (Oct 13, '14)
Although Blithewold is closing to the public this week, it is anything but quiet around the Mansion. We are now preparing to get the Mansion dressed up for Christmas! It is a bit hard to imagine a snowy winter in the midst of this crisp fall weather, but our decorating volunteers have been prepping and […]
  • Moving into fall (Oct 10, '14)

No frost yet (perish the thought — our average first frost date falls in early November) but night temperatures in the forties are definitely giving us a taste of what’s to come along with a chance to acclimatize, and a good reason to pull sweaters out of summer storage. And after […]
