RISD CE Art Exhibit: Inspired by Gardens
Inspired by Gardens - Paintings Created at Blithewold
APRIL 9 - May 1, during regular Mansion hours
During Daffodil Days at Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum, enjoy a special showcase of paintings created by RISD Continuing Education students. Blithewold’s spectacular 33-acre estate is perfect for "plein air" painting -- painting in the open air -- because of its striking and varied gardens. Visitors will enjoy an art exhibit that recreates the visual riches of Blithewold’s landscapes on canvas. The artists will display and sell oil-paintings in a myriad of representational and expressive styles for your enjoyment. Paintings created by Blithewold family members will also be on display throughout the Mansion.
Opening Reception: Sunday, APRIL 10, 2 - 4 pm at Blithewold
*A portion of the proceeds from all paintings sold will benefit Blithewold’s preservation and educational efforts.
Free for Blithewold Members. Join Today!
Included with regular Mansion admission for non-members.
