Summer Vacation Camp: Life at Sea Week
Life at Sea Week (July 9-13)
Summer in RI is all about the beach! This week campers will get to spend lots of time doing beach exploration, Seine fishing, making a seaweed press, enjoying sprinkler fun, learning about animal habitats, creating seashell arts and crafts, celebrating various creatures of the sea, mini-boat races, tales of the high seas, and making sailor’s valentines.
This week will end with a Family Fun Friday performance of Vanessa Trien on Friday, July 13. Trien is a Boston-based singer-songwriter and children’s performer, Vanessa Trien, has become a local rock star among the young and young at heart. Sing and dance along to some of her hits from two award-winning children’s CDs, ‘Carnival Day’ and ‘Hot Air Balloon.’
