Opera Providence: "A Happy Valentine's Day Concert"

Opera Providence is pleased to present its “Winter Concert Series at Blithewold” during the months of January and February.  Come to the beautiful Blithewold Mansion and Arboretum in Bristol, Rhode Island for a delightful performance featuring song, desserts, and great company.  Due to the increased popularity of this series Opera Providence and Blithewold are offering two concerts each month.


The Winter Concert Series begins on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 7:00pm and Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 3:00pm with the Opera Providence Ensemble performing opera classics featuring   “Opera Lover’s Favorites.”  The performers for the evening include Joshua Collier (tenor), Ryne Cherry (baritone), Rebecca Cunha (soprano), and Arielle Rogers (mezzo), with Melissa Woolverton as pianist.  The concert evening begins at 7:00pm on Friday and 3:00pm on Sunday with wine and sweets, followed by the beautiful voices of the Opera Providence Ensemble.  The ticket price is $40 per person.  Space is limited so order your tickets early.

Friday, February 15, 2013 and Sunday, February 17, 2013 are the dates for the second part of the Winter Concert Series.  This program will present “A Happy Valentine’s Day Concert” and will feature the voices of the Opera Providence Ensemble. All concert tickets are $40 per person.  Each concert evening will begin at 7:00pm and each Sunday performance will begin at 3:00pm.  Tickets for the entire concert series are $75 per person.  For more information please contact the Opera Providence office at 401-331-6060 or visit our website at www.operaprovidence.org.
