Growing Under Glass: A Behind the Scenes Propagation Workshop

Session I: Friday, March 22, 10:00 to 11:30 AM
Session II: Saturday, March 23, 10:00 to 11:30 AM

Join us for this rare opportunity to go “behind the scenes” and learn what’s growing in the restored 1901 Lord & Burnham greenhouse at Blithewold. During this workshop, which will take place in the potting shed and greenhouse, participants will learn about propagation and seed starting, plus care and cultivation for some of Blithewold’s specimen collection plants. Topics such as fertilizing, cut backs, and insect control will be covered during this hands-on session. Participants will be able to take home selected seeds, plants, and cuttings from Blithewold’s own gardens.

Participants are asked to park at the greenhouse.
