Pottery and Plants
Get extra creative this garden season and plant a beautiful container garden. You will really impress your friends by telling them that you not only planted it, but created the container as well! During this hands-on series, artist Ellen Bomgren, owner of Mudstone Studios in Warren, RI, will teach students to use press molds, textures an slip decoration techniques to create one-of-a-kind pots to plant in. At the first class we will make the container, then we will paint and glaze at the second session. Lastly, once our creations are dry, we will have a variety of plant materials available to complete your container design!
