The Newport Music Festival at Blithewold

Last Season's enthusiastic reviews have led to a mini-Festival here at beautiful Blithewold. Three Festival productions range from a children's concert, music of Charles Ives, and violinist Grazia Raimondi who thrilled Festival audiences last season with her incredible talents.

Monday, July 22  11 am Ives Thrives—Music by Charles Ives, quintessential New Englander and one of America’s greatest composers. A delightful program of chamber music and songs overlooking beautiful Bristol, RI harbor. $30

Tuesday, July 23 11 am Children’s Concert—Featuring dynamic duo of pianist Frederic Chiu and storyteller David Gonzalez, featuring Peter and the Wolf and The Story of Babar, the Little Elephant. $25  Children $10

Tuesday, July 23 7 pm  Grazia Raimondi in Recital—Italian violinist and Festival debut artist of the year2012 performs works of Prokofiev, Paganini and more! $35
