Blithewold Gala - August 16, 2008
Enjoy an elegant evening of sumptuous food, fine wine, dancing, and an array of exciting auction and raffle packages at Blithewold's "Celebration of a Century" Gala on August 16, 2008.
This special event will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the mansion, the 30th year of Blithewold being open to the public, and the 10th year of its rescue from private development. The 2008 Gala theme will take guests back in time to the elegance and graciousness of the early 20th century.

RAFFLE AND AUCTION PRIZES
The auction and raffle offers an assortment of 10-16 packages each valued between $3,000-$8,000. Packages include several international and domestic trips, sail and motor yacht excursions, private dining experiences, in-home culinary presentations, jewelry, Italian ceramic dinnerware, two private parties at Blithewold, a fabulous sports ticket package, and more. Proceeds from the raffle and auction will fund needed the replacement of Blithewold's slate roof, a $1.0 million capital project.
