Marketing Communications/Public Relations Internship

Position: Part-Time, Unpaid
We are looking for dynamic, entertaining and enthusiastic students. They will lead our educational camps and aid in educational programs and activities for children.
Responsibilities:
You must enjoy working with children in grades k-5. Games, activities, experiments, plays, art projects, dancing, singing and play time are all up to you, so creativity is a must!

Aid in the formation of multiple graphic design projects; aid in the formation of posters, programs, and pamphlets.
Responsibilities:
Minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
Requirements:
GPA of a 3.0 or better. Must be organized, responsible, and prompt with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
Background in graphic design is necessary. Knowledge of computer programs is preferred, such as Adobe Creative Suite. Indoor and outdoor signage.

Marketing Communications/Public Relations Internship

Responsibilities Public Relations: help create and implement marketing and communications plan, develop promotional opportunities for events, write and distribute press releases.
Marketing Communications: write, research, and help prepare monthly eNewsletters, assist with copy for brochures, website, and other promotional materials.
Database Management: Assist in ongoing maintenance and enhancement of current contact management data & press lists for targeted markets.
Responsibilities:
Hours: Minimum of 15 hours per week
Requirements:
Qualifications GPA: 3.0 or better with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The intern must be able to interact with a wide range of people from the arts/cultural, business, civic, academic, and public relations communities in an articulate and professional manner.
Must be organized and able to multi-task and work independently; must be responsible and on-time.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required, some website management experience preferred. Some graphic design experience and/or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite recommended.
