Camp Sequoia 2025 Week 2, Day 5: Color Day
Happy Friday!! Today was color day, and we had so many fun activities to do. First, we started the day by making rainbow clouds. Then, it was off to the grounds of Blithewold for a color scavenger hunt. Each group had to find 8 different colored objects out in nature. Whether it was leaves, flowers, or shells, they had to find something that matched the color and tape it on their sheet. After that, it was time for lunch and free play. In the afternoon, we read a story about the color wheel. We learned our primary and secondary colors. The campers knew a lot about the colors already! The campers crushed together crayons to mix new colors and name their creations. Later in the day, we melted their crayons. The campers took them home. Lastly, we went to the Great Lawn to play some fun parachute games. We had our campfire where we shared our favorite parts of the day. Another great week of camp in the books! Check out the photos from today!
