Camp Sequoia 2025 Week 4, Day 3: The Final Day of the Heat Wave

The heat wave has come to an end!  We started off the day by making lily pads with frogs. After that, we went to the grounds to play “What Time is it Mr. Fox” and “Duck, Duck, Goose.” The campers were excited to be outside before it was too hot. Then, we came back to camp for lunch and free play. In the afternoon, we set up a slip and slide for the campers. They got to show their best moves as they slid through the water. After that, the campers changed and came inside for story time. Today we took a break from the series and read a new book. We learned about rocks and the campers painted their rock pets. Tomorrow they will make name certificates. After the painting, the campers went to the rose garden for a snack. There, the campers played a game of freeze tag before heading back to camp to pack up for campfire. Tomorrow we will be at the veggie garden with Ms. Becca! Check out the photos from today!
