Jill Rizzo, author and owner of Studio Choo East, and Anna Jane Kocon, owner of Little State Flower Company are thrilled to host an informative talk and workshop on the nuances of the flower farmer/florist relationship at Blithewold Mansion. Join us for a fun evening of discussion about the importance of local and U.S. grown flowers to the local economy and environment, what it means to work with seasonal blooms for floral design, and the nature of the relationship between flower farmer and florist. Anna Jane will go into detail about the concepts and ideas behind her specialty cut flower farm, and Jill will offer some insights on what it means to be a florist committed to working with seasonal and local blooms whenever possible.

Wine, cheese and Studio Choo’s books will be available for sale and signing following the discussion.
