This year Blithewold’s garden volunteers filled jelly jars with flowers from Blithewold’s cutting garden and shared them with the Bristol community. This simple act of sharing blossoms to brighten someone’s day is very rewarding. In this class, you will learn from Gail Read, Blithewold’s Garden Manager, the essential techniques for growing cut flowers in a home garden. Garden volunteer and flower arranger Kathryn Swanson will share her arranging tips and her favorite flowers to use.

Each participant will create and take home a jelly jar of “Blooms from Blithewold” to share.
