Master quilter Allison Wilbur will demonstrate hand quilting with a thimble and spoon. In a world where everything feels rushed and compressed into the span of a soundbite, take time to slow down and enjoy the meditative pace of hand stitching. Members of Quilters by the Sea Quilt Guild will also be demonstrating other hand-stitching techniques, including hand piecing and embroidery.
