Native Seed Propagation with Sue Theriault and Sally Johnson

Learn how to grow native plants from seed. We will clean seeds and plant them in containers suitable to be left outside for the winter, plus review resources for knowing which germination method is best for each plant. We will also discuss why, and why not, to collect seeds in the wild. The workshop will be co-led by Sue Theriault, head of “Seed Starters” for the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society, and Sally Johnson of Ecoastal Design. Everyone will leave with their own container of native seeds.

Class size is limited to 12. Pre-registration is required.
