Another rainy Monday! We started the day with our routine camp introductions. The campers shared their favorite summer activities. We then went to the Rose Garden for a short time for a snack and a game. Next, we spotlighted Bessie Van Wickle, the matriarch of the family. She loved to garden and designed all of the gardens at Blithewold. We honored her by doing some planting of our own to bring home. We had to head inside for some coloring pages and crafts while it rained before lunch. After lunch, we went to the mansion for our weekly tour. We played Heads Up Seven Up before we packed up to go home. The campers went outside after the campfire for more outdoor time while the rain stopped.
