Co-Creating with Nature: The Nature Mandalas of Beth Adoette
Co-Creating with Nature: The Nature Mandalas of Beth Adoette
Saturday, January 15
10 – 11:30 AM, Lecture with Q&A
Nature and art both speak without words, giving us the opportunity to learn in a creative and intuitive way. Local artist Beth Adoette is coming to Blithewold to share her unique practice of partnering with nature. Her techniques can be used to create extraordinary works of art, but also to encourage reconnection of the things that are around us. Take some time out of your hectic holiday schedule to slow down to be inspired by the world around us and what we can learn from it.
About Beth: Beth Adoette grew up in the Appalachian Mountains with beech trees, hemlock, mountain streams, and chickadees in her hand. Once an editorial illustrator, she now concentrates on writing, illustrating, and photographing what she calls the “Contemplative Sacred Circles” she co-creates with nature. She also designs and facilitates a variety of Eco-Art Wellness Workshops.
Beth holds a BFA in Fine Arts and has received certification in Eco-Art Therapy through Portland State University and Project Nature Connect.
