Fairy Houses
Tuesday | April 21
Session 1: 10 – 11:30 AM
Session 2: 12:30 – 2 PM
Location: Education Space

Attract fairies to bring magic to your garden with an enchanting home, created from an amazing assortment of natural materials, just in time for their Earth Day celebrations! It all starts with a cookie…a tree cookie! A slice of a Blithewold tree trunk serves as the foundation for building your magical fairy house. Pinecones of every shape and size, acorns, seed pods, and so much more! Our Horticulture staff have spent months collecting an amazing assortment of natural items from the grounds to ensure the very best selection for your creations.

Environmental Educator, Connie Ganley, will provide guidance and encourage your imagination to create a unique and whimsical sculpture to enjoy in the garden with the fairies for years to come!

Supplies and materials provided. Feel free to bring any special shells, pine cones, or special rocks you wish to include.

Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by an adult; we will use hot glue guns. Space is limited to 1 adult per child.
