Week One, Day Three: Water, Water, and More Water

We were outside playing in the water most of today with all of the heat. We started at the beach, exploring the Blithewold shore on Narragansett Bay. The campers enjoyed catching critters and digging in the sand. Then everyone walked back to the camp room to eat lunch and have free play. We took a break inside for a little bit after lunch to cool off with some freeze dance. After that, we played water dodgeball in the backyard. Some campers chose to sit under the tent and enjoy the shade working on making rainbow loom bracelets. The campers then had a water competition against the counselors, getting all three of them completely soaked. Tomorrow we will have the first special guest of the summer. Check out the wet and wild photos from today!
