Gardeners Round Table : Catalog Your Garden!

Friday, October 27 at 10 am & Sunday October 29 at 1 pm
If you’ve lost track of the plants in your own garden—what’s alive and what’s not, what you bought last year or gave away, what you planted or transplanted and where, what you divided and fertilized and when—why not build your own garden catalog? In this discussion, you’ll hear the first-hand account of a plant collector who did just that, and the benefits and challenges she encountered building her own computer-based catalog. Even if your garden is small, cataloging your plants can be a useful and rewarding endeavor that complements your garden journal and seasonal notes, and consolidates relevant info for the plants you have, like bloom time and color, height and spread, quantities and costs.
Meet at the Greenhouse, although we may venture to various locations on the property.
This is a FREE program for Blithewold Members. $5 Non-member.
